That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.
It's difficult for their batters to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

These statements will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.
In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.
Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
